Bistro lunch at restaurant Le Plantagenêt in the heart of Fontevraud

 

A relaxing moment in between visits of Fontevraud abbey and the new art museum - so many local discoveries.

Regional recipes, traditional French food and local ingredients can be found on our bistro lunch menu as well as a large selection of Loire Valley wines, local craft beers, cocktails and good coffee and tea. In winter we serve our meals close to the log fire, in summer in the flowered court yard.
Reasonable prices, good quality and authentic atmosphere.
There is something for everyone - Bon appétit!

We are open from 12 pm
October - March : 5 days a week       
April - September : 7 days a week

  • Soupe à l'oignon gratinée au Comté (10.5€)
  • La Gouline Angevine: tourte locale aux rillauds (porc), chenin blanc, champignons, crème de tomme (11€)
