Our fine dining restaurant ‘Le Plantagenêt’ is part of hotel La Croix Blanche in Fontevraud l’Abbaye. Listed among the best restaurants in the Saumur area and awarded three ‘pots’ for its excellent innovative and gourmet cuisine using the freshest local ingredients, unusual herbs, spices, flowers and forgotten vegetables by Logis International. The restaurant’s wine list offers a large selection of excellent Loire Valley wines and has earned us recognition as a Logis Bacchus. Contemporary cuisine combined with classic French dishes are served in the newly refurbished airconditioned restaurant. Chef Emmanuel Vincent will spoil you with the best of French cuisine using local fish and poultry, black truffles from Touraine and wines from Saumur and Chinon. On warm summer days all meals can be served on our 17th century courtyard full of flowers.
